Applying to IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency

Applications are received from the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). For more information about applying through ERAS, please visit www.aamc.org/students/eras/start.htm. Candidates from medical schools and candidates from osteopathic schools are encouraged to apply.

Among other documentation, we expect applicants to submit three or more letters of recommendation via ERAS. We prefer to read the applications of applicants with USMLE two-digit scores ranging from 99-80.

Interviews are granted by invitation only. Interviews occur annually during the months of November, December, and January. All applicants are expected to successfully complete USMLE Step II CS prior to ranking. We participate annually in the NRMP match. Our academic year begins prior to July of each year.

For its physician positions in residency programs, the Indiana University Office of House Staff allows us to consider employment applications by U.S. Citizens, J-1 visas, or Permanent Residents of the United States.
